I’m not used to listening to music when I ride, and I guess it’s because I don’t ride long enough.
That being said, from time to time I have a song in my head while I ride, either to slow the horse down or, on the contrary, to push it forward slightly. And yes, sometimes I’ve sung or hummed it out loud!
I know that some endurance riders, such as Nadiah, have a playlist for when they train long distance. It occured to me that this might be a good thing to have for the Mongol Derby.
Maybe some days during the Mongol Derby, I’ll require a few “cheer me up” tunes to keep going. Do you have a playlist you listen to?
